The switch implements a comprehensive suite of Layer 2 management features including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain proprietary redundancy protocols with recovery times under 20 milliseconds for up to 250 switches, RSTP/STP for standard spanning tree redundancy, IGMP snooping and GMRP for multicast filtering, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN and port-based VLAN for network segmentation, QoS (IEEE 802.1p and TOS/DiffServ) for traffic prioritization, RMON for proactive monitoring, and SNMPv1/v2c/v3 for secure network management.
Network management is accessible via web browser, CLI (Command Line Interface), Telnet/serial console, Windows utility, and the ABC-01 configuration backup accessory. The switch supports DHCP Option 82 for IP address assignment policies and is IPv6 Ready logo certified. Industrial protocol support includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and PROFINET (on PN/EIP model variants).
