A Motor Module comprises a self-commutated converter withIGBTs. It generates a variable voltage with variable frequencyfrom the DC link voltage that feeds the connected motor.Multiple Motor Modules can be operated on a single DC link.This permits energy to be transferred between the Motor Modules. This means that if one Motor Module operating in generatormode produces energy, the energy can be used by anotherMotor Module operating in motor mode.
Electronic Short-Circuit Protection: Protects the module's output in the event of a phase-to-phase short circuit.
Ground Fault Protection: Detects and reacts to leakage current to the earth, preventing further damage to the motor or drive.
Thermal Overload Protection: Monitors the thermal state of the module and the connected motor to prevent overheating.
Motor Monitoring: Features integrated sensing for motor protection, including motor identification, temperature evaluation, and motor blocking protection.
Vdc Max Controller: Manages the DC link voltage to prevent overvoltage trips during regenerative braking
