An AC-powered, expandable forty-point controller, Siemens 6ES7288-1SR40-0AA0 is the original CPU SR40 order number. Alongside 24 digital inputs and 16 relay outputs, its V2.5 specification lists 24 KB of program memory and a separate 16 KB variable-memory area, keeping program and user-data capacities distinct.
