The Siemens 6ES7288-5BA01-0AA0 SB BA01 is a battery board for extended real-time-clock backup in supported S7-200 SMART CPUs. It fits the signal-board position on CPUs with firmware V2.0 or later. Siemens supplies the board without the separately purchased CR1025 cell.
