Description
The EC402-50 S1 is an ESB Bus Coupler Module manufactured by Yokogawa for the CENTUM VP integrated production control system. The EC402-50 S1 serves as a communication module to connect the Field Control Unit (FCU) and the Node Unit for ESB Bus via the ESB bus, enabling high-speed data exchange between the controller and distributed I/O devices.
The EC402-50 S1 can be installed in the Field Control Unit for FIO (AFV30S, AFV30D, AFV40S, AFV40D, A2FV50S, A2FV50D, A2FV70S, A2FV70D). The EC402-50 S1 features two ESB bus connector ports on the front of the module, accommodating a larger number of connected nodes than the previous EC401 model, which allows the EC402-50 S1 to offer a longer transmission distance for expanded network architectures.
