Description
The CI867AK01 3BSE092689R1 is a Modbus TCP communication interface module from the ABB AC 800M control system family. It is supplied as a kit including the CI867 communication module and the TP867 mounting base.

The module mounts on standard 35 mm top-hat DIN rail via the included TP867 base. The S800 I/O style module plugs into the base and is secured by a locking mechanism. Status LEDs on the module front panel indicate module health, network activity, and communication status. Hot-swap capability permits module replacement without system shutdown.
Power is supplied at 24 VDC via the TP867 base from the S800 module bus. Typical power consumption is less than 5 W.

DIN Rail Installation: Snap the TP867 baseplate securely onto the horizontal DIN rail.
Bus Extension Connection: Slide the baseplate to the left along the rail to firmly mate its built-in side connector with the controller or adjacent communication baseplate. This extends the internal module bus.
Module Insertion: Align the rear plastic guides of the CI867A module with the slot on the TP867 baseplate. Push the module straight down into the baseplate until the locking mechanisms click and it sits completely flush.
