The 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblyis made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), an advanced, highstrength, thermoplastic with excellent corrosion resistance.Other elements of the housing assembly are made ofcorrosion-resistant stainless steel. The housing can beordered with installed 3300 XL Proximity Probes and a varietyof conduit fittings.

Install Outer Sleeve: Thread the outer sleeve into the machine case using the 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.
Insert Probe Sleeve: Place the probe sleeve through the outer sleeve to set the probe's distance from the target shaft.
Mount the Housing: Fit the PPS housing body over the outer sleeve and slide the retainer plate into place under the retaining nut.
Secure the Assembly: Tighten the housing retaining nut to a recommended torque of 29.4 N·m (260 in·lb).
