The 3300XL 8mm system delivers the most advanced performance in Bently Nevada's eddy current proximity transducer systems and fully complies with the API 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300XL 8mm proximity transducer systems support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components, and each component is backward compatible with other non-XL 3300 series 5mm and 8mm transducer system components.

The specific model 330101-00-08-10-01-00 is a 3300XL 8mm probe with M10×1 thread and with armor, configured with 40 mm unthreaded length and 100 mm overall case length. It has a 5.0 meter (16.4 feet) total length and is designed for use with the 5-meter Proximitor sensor. The probe is equipped with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with connector protector and standard cable (Option 02), providing corrosion-resistant, gold-plated connections that lock into place and prevent loosening. The 3300XL Proximitor Sensor features SpringLoc terminal strips requiring no special installation tools, improved RFI/EMI immunity satisfying European CE mark approvals without special shielded conduit or metallic housings, and a thin design allowing high-density DIN-rail or traditional panel mount installation.

Side Clearance: Maintain a minimum target-to-probe-side clearance of 15 mm (0.6 in) of open area around the probe tip. Encroaching metal alters eddy current behavior and ruins calibration.
