The 330101-00-64-10-12-05 is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe featuring a 3/8-24 UNF threaded housing and a non-armored integral cable. The probe is intended for use as one component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System, operating together with a compatible 3300 XL extension cable and 3300 XL Proximitor® Sensor. When installed as a complete calibrated system, 330101-00-64-10-12-05 provides non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, axial position, differential expansion, eccentricity, and Keyphasor® reference signals in accordance with the specifications of the 3300 XL transducer system.

The 330101-00-64-10-12-05 utilizes a 75 Ω triaxial cable with fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) insulation, providing the electrical characteristics required by the 3300 XL transducer system. The probe incorporates a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip and a stainless-steel probe body, allowing complete electrical interchangeability with other probes of the same system length. When used with the specified Proximitor® Sensor and extension cable, the transducer system provides a 2.0 mm (80 mil) linear measurement range calibrated for AISI 4140 steel targets.

The 330101-00-64-10-12-05 is supplied from the factory calibrated to AISI 4140 steel and is fully interchangeable with other 3300XL 8 mm system components, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. The 330101 also maintains backward compatibility and interchangeability with non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components, and with the -05 agency approval option, the 330101 carries CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certifications for use in hazardous area applications.
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable alsoreflect improvements over previous designs. Apatented TipLoc molding method provides amore robust bond between the probe tip andthe probe body. The probe’s cable incorporatesa patented CableLoc design that provides 330N (75 lbf) pull strength to more securely attachthe probe cable and probe tip.
