The 330101-00-78-15-02-05 is a Bently Nevada 3300XL 8 mm proximity probe with 3/8-24 UNF thread and without armor cable, designed as a component of the 3300XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System for vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurement applications. The 330101-00-78-15-02-05 provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values.

The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API)670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. The 330101-00-78-15-02-05 is equipped with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with connector protector and standard 75 Ω triaxial cable, providing corrosion-resistant, gold-plated connections that require only finger-tight torque and feature a specially-engineered locking mechanism that prevents the connectors from loosening without special tools. The 330101-00-78-15-02-05 incorporates a 75 Ω triaxial cable with fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) insulation, a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip, and a stainless-steel probe body. The probe is factory calibrated to provide complete electrical interchangeability with other probes of the same system length. When installed with the specified extension cable and Proximitor® Sensor, the transducer system provides a 2.0 mm (80 mil) linear measurement range calibrated for AISI 4140 steel targets.
The 330101-00-78-15-02-05 is used for continuous condition monitoring and machinery protection on steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, electric motors, and generators.
