The 3300 XL probe system delivers a nominal scale factor of 200 mV/mil (7.87 V/mm) and a linear measurement range of 2.0 mm (80 mils). This configuration features an M10 × 1 metric threaded housing with a 50 mm overall case length and a 9-meter armored integral cable. The long cable configuration is suitable for installations where the Proximitor sensor or monitoring cabinet is located a considerable distance from the measurement point.
Typical applications include vibration monitoring, axial position measurement, and phase reference (Keyphasor®) measurement on turbines, compressors, motors, pumps, and other fluid-film bearing machinery. The probe is installed through an M10 × 1 threaded mounting hole and secured with a locknut. The recommended case torque is 11.2 N·m (100 in·lbf). The ClickLoc® connector ensures a secure, repeatable coaxial connection to the extension cable. The stainless steel armor provides mechanical protection for the cable in harsh industrial environments.

Mounting & Clearances: Provide a minimum of 50.8 mm (2.00 in) in front of the probe tip for unobstructed clearance. Maintain a minimum side-clearance (to adjacent metal parts) of 17.8 mm (0.70 in) and a probe-to-probe separation of 6.4 mm (0.25 in).
