Description
The Bently Nevada 330195-02-12-05-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Reverse Mount Probe designed for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, position, and displacement in rotating machinery operating under elevated-temperature conditions. As part of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System, the probe utilizes eddy-current sensing technology to provide accurate and stable measurements for machinery protection and condition monitoring applications. The 3300 XL system complies with API 670 requirements for linear range, accuracy, interchangeability, and temperature stability.
The reverse-mount design allows installation from the back side of a mounting bracket, making it suitable for applications where front access is limited. The ETR construction extends the operating temperature capability beyond standard probe configurations, enabling reliable operation in turbine, compressor, generator, and process machinery environments exposed to high temperatures.

The probe tip material is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and the case is constructed from AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel. A Viton® O-ring provides effective differential pressure sealing between the probe tip and case. The maximum thread engagement is 0.563 inches. The probe is equipped with front and rear seals to prevent moisture ingress.
Electrical connection is provided by a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector. The ClickLoc design requires only finger-tight torque and features a locking mechanism that prevents loosening without special tools. The typical cable capacitance is 85 pF/m.
