The module can be configured to supply conditioned Keyphasor signals to the backplane of the 3500 rack for use by other monitors, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module in the rack. A peak hold feature stores the highest speed, highest reverse speed, or number of reverse rotations that the machine has reached. These peak values can be reset by the user.
The internal termination design simplifies installation by eliminating external terminal blocks and reducing wiring points. This improves system reliability and reduces installation time. External termination blocks are incompatible with internal termination I/O modules and should only be used with TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) I/O modules.

Power down the specific rack slot or the entire 3500 chassis to prevent electrical shock or transient damage.
Locate the target slot at the rear of the rack that aligns with the front-facing 3500/50M Tachometer Monitor card.
