Description
The Bently Nevada 139554-01 is an AC LVDT Position I/O Module developed for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. Installed behind the 3500/45 Position Monitor, the module provides the electrical interface for AC Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) sensors used in continuous position measurement and machinery monitoring applications.
This module accepts signals from up to four AC LVDT transducers, conditions the input signals, and transfers the processed data to the associated 3500/45 Position Monitor through the system backplane. The monitor evaluates the measured values against configured alarm and danger setpoints while transmitting position information to the 3500 monitoring system

The 139554-01 incorporates internal terminations, allowing field wiring to connect directly to the module without requiring an external termination block. This configuration reduces cabinet wiring complexity and is well suited for installations where field connections are located close to the monitoring rack. For applications requiring remote field wiring, the corresponding external termination version is 139567-01.
When installed in a 3500/45 Position Monitor, the module supports a variety of position-monitoring functions depending on system configuration. These include valve position, differential expansion, case expansion, and other linear displacement measurements using AC LVDT sensors.
