Description
The 172109-01 is a Bently Nevada 3500/65 RTD/Isolated Tip TC I/O Module with external terminations, designed for 16-channel temperature monitoring in machinery condition monitoring systems. The 172109-01 accepts both resistance temperature detector (RTD) and isolated tip thermocouple (TC) temperature inputs, conditioning these signals and comparing them against user-programmable alarm setpoints.
The 172109-01 can be configured to accept isolated tip thermocouples, 3-wire RTDs, 4-wire RTDs, or a combination of TC and RTD inputs, offering maximum flexibility for different temperature sensing requirements. When replacing an older I/O modulewith a newer one,172109-01 Rev D,172103-01 Rev F, 172115-01 Rev E, orfuture revisions; it is necessary toupgrade the firmware to the monitorwith the latest released version. Youmust remove the I/O module beforeupgrading the monitor to the latestfirmware. Failure to do this will resultin an I/O Module Mismatch and 562ADC Failure in the System Event List.
