      The GE Fanuc IC698CHS017 Rx7i I/O Rack is for the Rx7i PACsystem. This 17-slot I/O rack is software configurable, and it supports the VME64 backplane system for all Rx7i CPUs and I/O configurations, the Series 90-70 I/Os, and the VME modules. The RX7i rack can be used for all RX7i CPU and I/Oconfigurations, Series 90™-70 I/O, and VMEmodules.Backplane connectors are spaced on 0.8" (20.3mm)centers to accommodate single-width RX7i modules,VME modules, and single-width Series 90-70modules. Double-width Series 90-70 modules usetwo slots each.

      The GE Fanuc IC698CHS017 Rx7i I/O Rack is a 17-slot, rear-mounted I/O rack for the Rx7i PACsystem series. The IC698CHS017 Rack, like every Rx7i PACsystem rack, is designed to support the high-powered Rx7i PACsystem power supplies, and it comes with a VME64 backplane, which is almost 4 times faster than the standard VME-based systems and it supports all standard VME modules, including the VMIC and Series 90-70 I/O modules. The IC698CHS017 Rack features a built-in slot-sensing capability that requires no additional jumpers or DIP switches on I/O modules for I/O reference addressing. The IC698CHS017 Rack supports a higher wattage power supply, and it is compatible with the Rx7i AC power supply plug-in. The IC698CHS017 Rack has an open-style design and so it requires a standard enclosure with an IP 54 or higher rating for use on the factory floor.
