      The General Electric GE-Fanuc IC754VSI12MTD is an operator interface for industrial applications. The IC754VSI12MTD belongs to the QuickPanel family of industrial interface devices.The size of the display on the IC754VSI12MTD is 12.1 inches. The display type is a resistive touchscreen TFT monochrome display which supports 256 shades of gray graphics and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The backlight of the display is rated for 50,000 hours and it cannot be replaced.

      The IC754VSI12MTD is powered by an XScale CPU at 300 MHz and it has 32 MB of DRAM (expandable to 96 MB via a memory expansion slot). A compact flash slot (Type 2) is available on the system which can support one 512 MB CF card. The IC754VSI12MTD uses the MS Windows CE as the operating system and comes pre-loaded with the Proficy View Machine Edition software. Two LEDs – one LED for power another tri-color LED which is user-programmable - provide status information and aid in troubleshooting. The IC754VSI12MTD is equipped with an RS-232/RS-485 serial interface and a 10/100 Ethernet interface. Optional communication modules - including GE-Fanuc Genius, DH+, DeviceNet, and ProfiBus modules - can be added via an expansion slot. The IC754VSI12MTD runs on 12V DC (±20%) or on 24V DC (±20%) and it consumes a maximum of 48W at 24V DC (its typical power consumption is 36W). A 12-18 AWG power cable is recommended for power connections. The IC754VSI12MTD is available in an IP65-rated NEMA 4/12/4X enclosure which requires a cut-out size of 302 x 228 x 60 mm for installation. It works optimally in environments with temperature in the 32-122 °F temperature range and where the relative humidity is in the 10-90%.
      Nonvolatile Flash Memory: Contains 32 MB or 64MB of flash memory (depending on specific model revision) that functions as a virtual hard drive to ensure applications and the operating system are not lost during power failures.
       
      Battery-Backed SRAM: Includes 512 KB of battery-backed SRAM for data retention.
