      The IC200ALG430 is a 6-Point Analog combination module from VersaMax I/O series formerly produced by GE Intelligent Platforms, now under Emerson Automation. This module has Four (4) differential inputs in a single group that accepts 4-20 mA signals and Two (2) single-ended outputs in one group that generates 4-20 mA output signal. This module has built-in converters with resolution of 12 bits for both input and output circuits while the module’s maximum backplane current draw is 50 mA.

      Analog mixed module IC200ALG430 / BXIOMA4 provides four analogcurrent inputs and two analog current outputs.Analog mixed module IC200ALG431 / BXIOMA410 provides four 0 to+10VDC analog inputs and two 0 to +10VDC analog outputs.Analog mixed module IC200ALG432 provides four -10 to +10VDCanalog inputs and two -10 to +10VDC analog outputs.

      The module is easily set up with a jumper for the outputs to either holdtheir last states or default if backplane power or communications areinterrupted or the PLC is stopped. External user power must remainuninterrupted. Outputs remain in their default or last state until themodule receives different output data from the backplane, or until fieldpower is removed.When software-configured, inputs can be configured to hold last state orreport a selectable value. When the module is autoconfigured using aCPU or NIU that is version 2.x or later, inputs default to 0. If the CPU orNIU is version 1.5 or earlier, the input default matches the jumperconfigured output default (0 or Hold Last State).

      The primary difference between the IC200ALG430 and IC200ALG431 lies in the electrical signal type they process: the ALG430 is dedicated to current (4-20mA), while the ALG431 handles unipolar voltage (0 to +10VDC). Both are 12-bit mixed modules for the GE Fanuc VersaMax series, combining four inputs and two outputs on a single carrier base
      Default Behavior: Both modules use a jumper on the carrier to select the "fault" state. If backplane power or communication is lost, the ALG430 can be set to default to 4mA, whereas the ALG431 and ALG432 default to 0V.
