The Honeywell MC-TAMT03 (51309223-175) is a Low-Level Analog Multiplexer (LLMUX) Field Termination Assembly (FTA) primarily used for thermocouple and millivolt signal processing within the TDC 3000 and TPS systems.Compatible with ANSI types J, K, E, T, B, S, R and Japan Type R.Supports signals from -20 to +100 millivolts.The MC-TAMT03 features a Local Cold Junction Reference to ensure high-accuracy temperature readings by compensating for the temperature at the connection point.

Upright Position Only: This module must be mounted in a vertical (upright) position. This ensures that the mercury inside the multiplexing relays maintains the correct contact orientation. If mounted horizontally or upside down, the mercury can cause permanent short circuits or erratic signal readings.
Location: It is a Size B FTA and can be mounted in standard Honeywell High-Performance Process Manager (HPM) or Advanced Process Manager (APM) cabinets.
Remote Mounting: The FTA can be located up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) away from the I/O processor using suitable interconnecting cabling (typically 16-gauge twisted pair).
