T8019 supplies process control algorithms executed within the standard Trusted controller program. The package includes stateless functions and retentive function blocks for calculations, signal conditioning and loop regulation, originally intended primarily for limited process control duties on floating production facilities.
The manufacturer sets a SIL 1 target for these basic process control functions and explicitly excludes their use in program elements intended for SIL 3. The library provides incremental PID, selection, scaling and tracking through functions and state-retaining function blocks.
