Forty triplicated analog outputs with automatic field-line diagnostics
ICS Triplex T8480 connects forty field devices through triplicated analog output channels. Internal diagnostics check current and voltage throughout each voted channel, including stuck-on and stuck-off conditions, while line monitoring reports open-circuit loads and missing field-supply voltage.
The module records output state changes with one-millisecond event resolution and displays channel status, wiring faults and module health on its front panel. Outputs are arranged in five power groups; the manufacturer specifies certification for non-interfering use and requires appropriate barriers for hazardous-area circuits.
