Conformal-coated Trusted interface for Ethernet and serial communications
ICS Triplex T8151C is a conformal-coated communications interface for the Trusted platform. Two Ethernet ports and four isolated rear serial ports provide connections to external equipment, offloading communications tasks from the TMR processor rather than adding process input or output channels.
The current manual distinguishes its 10/100BaseT Ethernet hardware from older communication-interface versions. Match the installed firmware, protocol configuration, chassis position and external adapter before replacement; Modbus master operation requires the documented processor interface adapter, while peer-to-peer use requires a controller-chassis location.
