Revision-specific Trusted connections for Ethernet and serial communications
ICS Triplex T8151B is a Trusted communications interface that handles external data links and reduces the communications workload on the TMR processor. Its documented hardware provides two Ethernet interfaces, four isolated rear serial ports and an isolated front diagnostic connection.
Ethernet capability depends on revision: units through revision B use 10Base2 and 10BaseT, while revision C onwards supports 10BaseT and 100BaseT. Select the matching firmware instructions, adapter, cable media and chassis position before configuring or replacing the interface.
