Legacy Trusted interface for external Ethernet and serial connections
ICS Triplex T8151 is an earlier Trusted communications interface that handles external communication services and reduces the communications workload on the TMR processor. The manufacturer version table identifies two Ethernet interfaces, four isolated rear serial ports and an isolated front diagnostic connection.
For T8151 through revision H, the documented Ethernet hardware supports 10Base2 and 10BaseT, not the later 100BaseT arrangement. Match the actual revision, firmware and adapter before replacement; supported protocol settings depend on the firmware scope stated in the applicable manufacturer manual.

It is a communications interface for the Trusted platform. It handles external communications for the controller; it is not the TMR application processor and does not add analog or digital process channels. -

The manufacturer version table lists dual 10Base2/10BaseT for T8151 through revision H. The 10BaseT/100BaseT entry belongs to later T8151B hardware and T8151C; do not transfer that rating to this legacy part. -
