Model 8406-113 falls under the Woodward EGCP-3 Engine Generator Control Package, Load Sharing (LS) model series. This microprocessor-based unit is designed to be used along with or together with other LS units. The 8406-113 is rated with an input voltage of 18-32 V dc, and rated for an operating temperature range of –20 to +70 °C.
This LS model has a keypad and display screen interface, which includes two backlit LCD screens, enabling users to simultaneously monitor and tune related parameters. These screens display eight lines of status information, with the option of four lines of configuration or alarm log information.

Woodward manual 82715 recommends discharging body static and avoiding synthetic clothing or plastics around the circuit boards,Additional configuration and tuning are available via Watch Window Professional software through a ServLink communications serial link,Users must install a totally independent overspeed shutdown device to prevent runaway, as the control system alone is not sufficient protection.
