The Yokogawa S9129FA is a Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) backup battery pack for Yokogawa's CENTUM CS 3000 and CENTUM VP distributed control systems. It delivers a nominal output of 2.4 V DC at 1,100 mAh capacity (original specification), with newer replacement variants offering 2,500 mAh capacity under the same HHR-11F2G2 cell designation.
The battery pack is installed within processor modules such as the CP451, CP461, and CP451-10, as well as node units including the AFF50x and AFV10x series. Its primary function is to maintain the real-time clock, retain volatile configuration data, and preserve critical process variables during main power supply interruptions.
