The VI702 is a Yokogawa Vnet/IP Interface Card designed for the CENTUM VP integrated production control system. The VI702 is installed into the PCI Express slot of a PC/AT compatible computer to connect the computer to the Vnet/IP control bus network.
The VI702 delivers high-speed communication at 1 Gbps full duplex, enabling rapid data exchange between the host computer and the control network. The VI702 is designed for installation in PCI Express slots (x1 to x16) according to PCI Express CEM Specification 1.0a at 2.5 GT/s signaling; it cannot be installed in PCI slots.
The VI702 supports 1000BASE-T transmission using standard RJ45 connectors with CAT5e (Enhanced Category 5) UTP cables, ensuring reliable Ethernet connectivity.
