The 1900/65A provides four transducer inputs and fourtemperature inputs. Software can configure each transducerinput to support 2- and 3-wire accelerometers, velocitysensors or proximity sensors. Each temperature inputsupports Type E, J, K, and T thermocouples, and 2- or 3-wireRTDs.
The 1900/65A provides six relay outputs, four 4-20 mArecorder outputs, and a dedicated buffered output. The usercan use the 1900 Configuration software to configure therelay contacts to open or close according to the OK, Alert andDanger statuses of any channel or combination of channels,and to provide data from any variable from any channel onany recorder output. The dedicated buffer output can providethe signal for each transducer input.

A Modbus Gateway option allows the monitorto provide static variables, statuses, event list,time and date information directly to anyModbus client, including Distributed ControlSystems (DCSs), Supervisory Control and DataAcquisition (SCADA) systems, ProgrammableLogic Controllers (PLCs), or System 1 software.The monitor uses an internal counter and aModbus client/master time reference togenerate time and date information. Users canupgrade monitors without the ModbusGateway by ordering the 1900/01Communications Upgrade (see the OrderingInformation section). The 1900/65A supportsModbus communications via Ethernet and asoftware-configurable RS232/485 serial port.
The user defines monitor operation and theModbus Gateway register map by usingsoftware running on a laptop or PC to create aconfiguration file and download the file to themonitor through the built-in Ethernetconnection. The 1900/65A permanently storesconfiguration information in non-volatilememory, and can upload this information tothe PC for changes.
