It is for use in the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System, providing precise non-contact shaft displacement and vibration measurements for critical rotating machinery.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advancedperformance in our eddy current proximity transducersystems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API)670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mmproximity transducer systems provide this level ofperformance and support complete interchangeability ofprobes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminatingthe need to match or bench calibrate individual components.

This option prevents oil and otherliquids from leaking out of the machine throughthe cable’s interior.
