Description
The Bently Nevada 330102-00-40-05-01-00 is an 8 mm proximity probe from the 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System. It is designed for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, axial position, and Keyphasor reference signals on critical rotating machinery equipped with fluid-film bearings.
The probe features a 3/8-24 UNF mounting thread with 0.0 in unthreaded length and 4.0 in overall case length. The armored cable construction uses flexible AISI 302 or 304 stainless steel braid with an FEP outer jacket, providing mechanical protection against abrasion, crushing, and chemical exposure in harsh industrial environments. The total probe cable length is 0.5 metre (1.6 feet).
The probe tip is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), a high-performance engineering polymer resistant to chemicals and thermal degradation. The probe case is AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel. A Viton® O-ring provides pressure sealing between the probe tip and case; probes are not pressure tested prior to shipment.
