Armored metric proximity probe
Bently Nevada 330174-00-08-50-02-05 is an armored metric probe for the 3300 5 mm Transducer System. The order specifies an M8 x 1 threaded case, an 80 mm overall case length and a 5.0 m integral standard cable with a miniature ClickLoc connector.
Its compact sensing tip supports vibration and position measurements where physical mounting space is restricted. The five meter probe must use a five meter Proximitor Sensor. Bently Nevada 330174-00-08-50-02-05 is an armored metric probe for the 3300 5 mm Transducer System. The order specifies an M8 x 1 threaded case, an 80 mm overall case length and a 5.0 m integral standard cable with a miniature ClickLoc connector.
Use only a five meter Proximitor Sensor with this five meter integral probe. The reference system specifications assume the documented conductive target, supply, load, gap and temperature conditions. XL electronics may be used as described by the manufacturer, but the system remains limited to non-XL 3300 performance.

Can this five meter probe be connected to a nine meter Proximitor Sensor?
No. The manufacturer specifically limits five meter integral probes to the five meter Proximitor Sensor. Do not use the general extension-cable selection rule to convert this exact configuration into a nine meter system. -
Does the smaller tip allow closer spacing between adjacent probes?
Not by itself. The 3300 5 mm probe has smaller physical packaging, but does not reduce electrical sideview clearance or tip-to-tip spacing requirements compared with an XL 8 mm probe. The official datasheet distinguishes physical restrictions from narrow-sideview applications. -
