The 3300 XL probe and extension cable alsoreflect improvements over previous designs. Apatented TipLoc molding method provides amore robust bond between the probe tip andthe probe body. The probe’s cable incorporatesa patented CableLoc design that provides 330N (75 lbf) pull strength to more securely attachthe probe cable and probe tip.
This Proximitor Sensor is fully interchangeable and backward-compatible with all 3300-series 5 mm, 3300 8 mm, and 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probes and extension cables. It supports complete component interchangeability—probes, cables, and Proximitors can be replaced individually without bench calibration or matching of specific units, provided the total system length (probe cable + extension cable) matches the Proximitor’s calibrated length (typically 5.0 m or 9.0 m).
