The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/40 125672-01 is to process signals from compatible proximity transducers and provide machinery monitoring functions for critical rotating equipment. Depending on the configured measurement function, the monitor can be used for radial vibration, thrust position, eccentricity, differential expansion, and REBAM applications.
The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/40 125672-01 supports up to four proximity transducer input channels. Each channel can be configured to condition its input signal and generate static values used for machinery monitoring. User-programmable alert and danger setpoints allow the monitored values to be compared against configured limits for machinery protection.

The primary purpose of the 3500/40 is to provide machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms, and to provide essential machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel. The 3500/40 can be programmed with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the following functions: Radial Vibration, Eccentricity, REBAM, Thrust Position, and Differential Expansion.

The 3500/40 returns the following static values: Direct, Gap, 1X Amplitude, 1X Phase, 2X Amplitude, 2X Phase, Not 1X Amplitude, Not 1X Phase, Smax Amplitude, Smax Phase, and Eccentricity Peak-to-Peak. The 3500/40 allows configuration of alert setpoints for each active static value and danger setpoints for any two of the active static values. The 3500/40 supports three I/O module types. The 3500/40 can be ordered with an Internal Termination I/O Module, an External Termination I/O Module, or an Internal Barrier I/O Module. The Internal Barrier I/O Module of the 3500/40 provides internal safety barriers for hazardous area applications. External Termination Blocks cannot be used with Internal Termination I/O Modules on the 3500/40.
