This cable comes with all the specifications required for it to connect a module with different equipment safely and maintain proper connections during operations. This specific cable comes with a length of 1 meter. When there is more than 1 rack, this specific cable can be connected in a “daisy-chain” arrangement from one rack to another. This is possible since this GE Fanuc Automation cable comes with a dual connector on one of its ends. One of the dual ends of the cable can be plugged into a base plate connector, and the second one can provide a socket for connecting the next cable. This cable has been designed to enable users build their own application schemes.

The GE IC693CBL300 bus expansion cable can be used as a Wye adapter between custom-built cables and remote racks. This cable comes with a male 25-pin D connector on one end and the 2-headed 25-pin D connector on the other end that supports the "daisy-chain" connections. This end has one male connector and one female connector. Prior to using “daisy-chain” cables, the module requires a prewired cable that is 1 meter long to simplify the custom cable assembly associated with this chain setup. The GE IC693CBL300 bus expansion cable has the ability to interconnect baseplate expansion ports, CPUs, and remote racks. It has been manufactured to ensure that the signal is delivered properly by minimizing the interference level across the whole system. This cable is shielded and it can be used to build a whole cable and wiring circuitry system.

Connection Steps:
Plug the single male end into the CPU baseplate or the preceding baseplate in the chain.
Plug one head of the "Wye" end into the expansion baseplate's expansion port.
Use the remaining head to either continue the chain to another baseplate or to install an I/O Bus Terminator plug if it is the last cable in the system.
