Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
This module also supports downloading and uploading of user program, troubleshooting of the user program and hardware. This module may also be used to communicate with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks. The IC697CMM742 is provided with LED status indicators that can be used to locally monitor and troubleshoot the module in case of errors. These LED indicators include Module OK, LAN online, Serial Active and Status OK. This communication module has backplane current draw amounting to 2.0 A @ 5 VDC) and 0.5 Amps @ 12 VDC when powering an external AUI transceiver. Additionally, the module’s operating temperature is 0 C to +55C (32F to 131F). This module is also provided with a replaceable 1.0 A fuse used for module protection in the AUI transceiver port.
Slot Placement: Must be installed in the main IC697 PLC rack. It will not function in an expansion rack.
Power Supply: If using the AUI network port, your PLC power supply must provide ±12Vdc.
Grounding: Attach the module's 18-inch green ground wire to the chassis ground lug to prevent LAN malfunctions.
