The X-AI 32 01 analog input module is suitable for HIMax Programmable Electronic Systems (PES). This module can be inserted into any slot on the backplane, except for the dedicated slot for the system bus module. For more information, please refer to the system manual (HI 801 001 E). This module is used to evaluate up to 32 analog input signals. This module is TÜV certified for SIL 3 (IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and IEC 62061) safety-related applications. 4 and PL e (EN ISO 13849-1).

This module features 32 analog current inputs (0/4...20 mA), each measured and functionally tested using two internal measuring devices. Each input is allocated a transmitter power supply with short-circuit protection. These 32 analog inputs can be used to evaluate the measurements of transmitters and safety transmitters. Two-wire or three-wire transmitters with a maximum supply current of 30 mA can be connected to this module. Each functional unit is electrically isolated to ensure input signals are not disturbed. A safety-related 1oo2 processor system controls and monitors I/O levels for the I/O module. Data and status of the I/O module are provided to the processor module via a redundant system bus. The system bus employs a redundant structure for availability. Redundancy is only ensured when both system bus modules are plugged into the backplane and configured in SILworX. The module is equipped with LED indicators to show the status of the analog inputs.
