Description
The Honeywell TC-FXX102 is a 10-slot chassis from the Honeywell Experion PKS Series-A Chassis I/O Module (CIOM-A) platform.
The chassis provides 10 single-wide module slot positions. Single-wide modules occupy one slot, while double-wide modules occupy two adjacent slots. The backplane distributes three voltage rails: 5.1 V DC logic power (up to 15 A), 24 V DC auxiliary power (up to 2.8 A), and 3.3 V DC I/O power (up to 4 A). The combined total output power across all backplane voltages cannot exceed 75 W. The chassis backplane is rated for 13 A total current capacity.
Power is supplied by a Series-A specific power supply module (TC-FPCXX2 for non-redundant configurations) that mounts to the left side of the chassis and does not consume a slot position. The TC-FXX102 supports Removal/Insertion Under Power (RIUP) for I/O modules when installed in ordinary, non-hazardous locations, allowing modules to be removed and inserted without powering down the system. The TC-FXX102 carries comprehensive agency certifications including UL 508 Industrial Control Equipment, Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C & D for hazardous and ordinary locations, and CE marking compliance with EN 50081-2 emissions and EN 50082-2 immunity standards.
