PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Rack mounting and distribution for Trusted power packs
ICS Triplex T8230 is the power shelf in the Trusted distributed power range. Its nineteen-inch, one-unit chassis accommodates up to three power packs and provides their mains connections, DC output terminals and the physical arrangement for power monitoring and control.
Separate retained mains connectors serve the power packs, and the rear Power Port reports supply conditions through diagnostic contacts. Shelf interconnections provide current sharing across the installed packs, with available capacity and redundancy determined by the pack arrangement.

Is T8230 a complete power supply by itself?
No. It is the shelf for the power packs. Output voltage and available power depend on the fitted packs and approved configuration; an empty shelf does not provide a DC output. -
How many power packs can the shelf accommodate?
Up to three. The manufacturer describes a total capacity of up to 2250 W, or up to 1500 W with N+1 redundancy, depending on the installed pack configuration. -
Does the shelf require rear mounting support?
Yes. The manufacturer requires the bracket assembly to support the rear of the shelf. The 4U bracket arrangement accommodates up to four shelves and supports the front and rear mounting points. -
