The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API)670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mmproximity transducer systems provide this level ofperformance and support complete interchangeability ofprobes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminatingthe need to match or bench calibrate individual components

An extended temperature range (ETR) probeand ETR extension cable are available forapplications in which either the probe lead orextension cable may exceed the standard 177˚C(350˚F) temperature specification. The ETRprobe has an extended temperature rating forup to 218˚C (425˚F). The ETR extension cablerating is up to 260˚C (500˚F). Both the ETR probeand cable are compatible with standardtemperature probes and cables, for example,you can utilize an ETR probe with the 330130extension cable. The ETR system uses thestandard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. Note thatwhen you use any ETR component as part ofyour system, the ETR component limits thesystem accuracy to the accuracy of the ETRsystem.
