Location Limitations: The module itself is certified for Class I, Division 2, Zone 2 locations. It is not certified for direct installation inside Class I, Division 1, or Class I, Zone 0/1 environments.
Barrier Integration: To support speed transducers or sensors located in Division 1 / Zone 0 hazardous spaces, you must route all sensor wiring through galvanically isolated safety barriers or zener barriers before connecting to the CPU.
Ground Jumper Management: If your architecture uses galvanic isolators, do not change the factory grounding configuration. If installing zener barriers, you must remove the built-in ground jumper on the monitor. This isolates the circuit common from the chassis ground at the module, allowing the chassis loop to ground cleanly at the barrier block instead.
