Environmental tolerance includes an operating temperature range from 0 to 60°C and storage capabilities from -40 to 85°C. Additionally, it maintains humidity tolerance between 5% to 95% without condensation. Isolation features include ±35V for channel-to-channel operations and ±1500V AC for backplane safety, ensuring stable and secure performance. The integrating A/D conversion type enhances measurement accuracy and reliability across various applications.
Open Thermocouple Detection: The module includes internal processing to identify broken or disconnected thermocouple wires.
Integrating A/D Conversion: Uses an integrating analog-to-digital conversion method, which inherently provides noise rejection for power line frequencies (50/60 Hz).
Conduit: Route extension wiring in its own dedicated conduit, separate from high-power AC lines, to prevent electrical noise interference.
Shielding: Use shielded, twisted-pair wiring for the best noise immunity. Connect the shield to a solid earth ground at Terminals 19 or 20.
Sensor Type: You must use extension wire that matches the specific thermocouple type (J, K, N, T, E, R, or S) being used.
