VersaMax provides several types of snap-together I/O carriers and interposing terminals to providemaximum wiring flexibility, as well as module hot insertion and removal VersaMax carrierssupport IEC box-style, spring-style, and barrier-style terminals and are also available as snap-onauxiliary terminal strips and interposing terminals that can be mounted separately and connectedto a connector-style carrier by an I/O cable

This module has 4 common / power connections and embedded with keying dials which is set to match the designated keying position of the module being hosted by the I/O carrier. This hardware also comes with carrier mating connectors for quick assembly and connection to the backplane. It also has a module latch hole to lock the hosted IO module into place. The terminals of the IC200CHS002 is capable of withstanding up to 300 VAC transient voltage. At normal operation, each terminal is designed for voltage range of 0-264 VAC and 2 Ampere current rating per terminal and 8 Ampere capacity per power / common terminal. Each terminal supports termination of up to 2 wires with recommended wire sizes of AWG # 14 (avg. 2.1mm2 cross section) to AWG #22 (avg. 0.36mm2 cross section) for single wire connection and AWG #18 (avg. 0.86mm2 cross section) for Two (2) wire connection in a single terminal for implementing terminal shorting.
