      Discrete output modules IC200MDL730 and BXIOODP824 provideone group of 8 discrete outputs. Each point has electronicovercurrent protection and short circuit protection, and generates afault if either condition exists. The outputs are positive or sourcingtype outputs. They switch the loads to the positive side of the DCsupply and thus supply current to the loads.

      The IC200MDL730 Discrete Output Module is a GE Fanuc 24 Volts DC Positive Logic Output Module which has 8 discrete outputs in one group. It has 17.5 to 30 Volts DC output voltage, 18 to 30 Volts DC of voltage from an external power supply, and 0.5 milliseconds of response time.

The external power supply, which has an 18 to 30 Volts DC voltage rating, can provide power to the load as well as the field power to the module in a short circuit situation. If the external power supply has insufficient power characteristics, it is recommended to use local energy storage devices such as batteries or capacitors. During installation, make sure to do the hot insertion accurately to avoid damage to the backplane. The users must refer to the installation guide to properly install the module on a carrier. The IC200MDL730 Discrete Output Module has no thermal derating, group to group isolation, or point to point isolation. It comes with a scalable architecture, a compact design, and features to enhance industrial control applications.
