PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sixteen monitored detector inputs with individual reset control

ICS Triplex T3419 is a Regent input module for sixteen fire detector circuits, including smoke, flame and temperature detectors and manual alarm call points. It reports detector and wiring status to the controller while automatically testing the input electronics.

An external DC supply feeds an internal regulator that powers the detector loops. Individual reset control can interrupt a latched detector supply. Detector characteristics, line termination, thresholds and configured fault variables must be matched before commissioning a simplex or redundant arrangement.

REGENT EQUIPMENT

Match T3419 to the documented Regent configuration

T3419 interfaces detector loops to Regent logic, including alarm, healthy, open and short conditions. Select loop termination and thresholds from the actual detector load-line characteristics and approved engineering design.
Check the detector-loop drawing, line terminators and upper 11/lower 7 mechanical keys. Verify 15-40 V DC external supply and the complete detector loop loading; internal regulation is nominally 23.5 V DC.
Check input Name, Fault Name and Reset Name variables and the approved threshold, reset and voting logic in WINTERPRET.

Features:

  • Sixteen fire detector input circuits
  • Open and short circuit line monitoring
  • Individual detector reset control
The ICS Triplex T3419 regent fire detector input module requires the appropriate mounting, connections and configuration to be verified before system integration and commissioning.
INTERCHANGEABILITY

Verify the complete replacement identity before commissioning

Record the complete T3419 identity and compare its hardware revision with the installed item. Confirm T3419, the Regent I/O position, detector type, field supply, termination and upper 11/lower 7 keys. Sharing a field detector between redundant modules requires manufacturer review.
Check the detector-loop drawing, line terminators and upper 11/lower 7 mechanical keys. Check input Name, Fault Name and Reset Name variables and the approved threshold, reset and voting logic in WINTERPRET.
Use the controlled manufacturer procedure and the approved maintenance plan. Line faults are reported through Fault Name variables, not simply as permanent module faults. A healthy module indication does not confirm a healthy detector loop.

Features:

  • Complete order identity retained
  • Companion equipment and configuration checked
  • No unconditional substitution claim
The ICS Triplex T3419 regent fire detector input module requires replacement verification against the complete installed configuration and current manufacturer documentation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions buyers ask about T3419

Direct answers about identity, compatibility, stock, warranty, payment and shipping.
  • Which detector types are listed by the manufacturer?

The manual lists smoke detectors, flame detectors, temperature detectors and manual alarm call points. Each actual detector must satisfy the documented loop and threshold requirements.
  • Does the external supply connect directly to every detector?

The module accepts 15-40 V DC field power and internally regulates the detector-loop supply to nominally 23.5 V DC. Use the original field drawing, not a generic digital-input connection.
  • Are the example threshold settings suitable for every detector?

No. Healthy, alarm, open and short operating points depend on the detector, termination and any external barrier. Use the load-line method and approved engineering values.
  • Does a line fault always create a permanent I/O module fault?

No. Line faults are available through the configured Fault Name variables. The manual states that they do not automatically become permanent module faults; alarm handling must use the appropriate variables.
  • What happens to the reported state during detector reset?

The detector supply is interrupted while the last input state is held. A line fault can be indicated during reset, and a settling delay follows supply restoration. Verify detector-specific timing before commissioning.
  • Is every input circuit tested at a fixed fifteen-second interval?

No. The table gives a typical value, while the detailed section makes timing dependent on program scan and I/O quantity. Fault filtering can also delay permanent-fault reporting.
  • Can a single detector serve two redundant modules without review?

The manual directs users to consult the manufacturer for that arrangement. Ordinary fault tolerance uses suitable redundant modules, sensors and configured voting; it is not automatic from the module name.
