Triconex 3503E acquires 32 nominal 24 VAC/VDC discrete inputs, commoned in groups of eight. Its triplicated input paths and continuous self-test support detection of a normally energized circuit changing to the off state.

Check voltage at the module under load. The worst-case off-to-on threshold is 18 VAC/VDC; wiring or barrier losses can reduce the available margin. Nominal turn-on current is 6-9 mA. -
How many independently commoned groups does 3503E provide?
There are four groups of eight inputs, not 32 independently commoned circuits. Preserve the documented termination grouping and field references. -
Can a 50 Hz AC status signal be connected to this input model?
