Does DR16 mean sixteen relay outputs?
No. The sixteen-point arrangement comprises eight digital inputs and eight relay outputs. The similarly named DR08, QR16 and DR32 models have different input/output combinations and must be identified separately. -
What changes if a DT16 is offered instead?
DT16 uses sourcing transistor outputs, whereas DR16 has dry relay contacts. Their load voltage ranges, point-current limits and terminal arrangements differ, so the same eight-input/eight-output count does not establish interchangeability. -
