Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 2201/03-01 provides four dedicated Proximitor® transducer input channels, making it suitable for continuous monitoring of shaft vibration and shaft position using Bently Nevada proximity transducer systems. Unlike other monitor variants in the 2201 family, the 2201/03-01 accepts Proximitor® inputs on all four channels without seismic signal processing.
The BENTLY NEVADA 2201/03-01 is fully programmable through the host Allen-Bradley PLC using Block Transfer Write (BTW) and Block Transfer Read (BTR) instructions. Alarm setpoints, channel scaling, frequency response, time delays, and operating parameters are configured in software rather than by hardware jumpers, providing greater flexibility than earlier monitoring systems.

The monitor continuously evaluates machinery condition data and transfers measurement values, alarm status, OK status, and diagnostic information directly to the PLC for control and supervisory functions.

The 2201 measures up to 24 channels of vibration and seismic information, and provides for two levels of alarm, Alert and Danger, for each channel.Many parameters manually configured by jumpers in the 3300 Monitoring System can now be programmed directly by the machine operator from the PLC-5 Controller.Each 2201 System consists of a System Monitor, up to six Four-Channel Monitors, and a Monitoring System Backplane.
