PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Field power distribution with a separate zero-volt reference
ICS Triplex T8290C belongs to the Trusted output power distribution family. It distributes positive field power and a separate zero-volt reference to compatible sourcing output modules. The field load return follows the termination assembly or field terminal, not the reference connector.
Up to three output modules can be connected, provided their combined load remains within the unit rating. Single or dual positive feeds use stud connections, and the assembly mounts on DIN rail. Confirm the installed revision, voltage limits and intended return path before replacement.

Does T8290C convert mains voltage into DC?
No. It distributes an existing field DC supply and a separate zero-volt reference to compatible sourcing output modules. It is not a mains power converter or an independently programmable controller. -
Which voltage range should be used?
The legacy PD-T8290 Issue 8 table gives 22-120 Vdc, while ICSTT-PC002G gives 18-140 Vdc. The supplied hardware revision has not been verified here. Confirm the applicable manufacturer rating before use; do not assume the wider range. -
Is the zero-volt reference a load-return connection?
No. The manufacturer expressly distinguishes reference from return. Field load current returns through the appropriate field termination assembly or field terminal rather than through the module reference connection. -
