Description
The Siemens 6SE7090-0XX84-0AJ0 is a CU2 open-loop and closed-loop control board (Vector Control version) for the SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES series of AC variable frequency drives. The unit serves as the central processing and control unit (component code –A10) for early-generation 6SE70/6SE71 drive converters, handling all logic operations, speed regulation, torque calculation, and human-machine interface communication.
The CU2 control board supports multiple control modes selectable via parameter P100: V/f open-loop control (P100=1), V/f open-loop control with n-controller and pulse encoder (P100=0), V/f open-loop control for textile applications (P100=2), vector control without tachometer — f-control (P100=3), vector control with tachometer — n-speed with pulse encoder (P100=4), and torque control — M control with pulse encoder (P100=5).
