Stock and Lead Times

Understand the difference between physical stock and sourced availability, and how lead times, dispatch dates, shipment progress and order updates are confirmed.
8 questions
  • 01
What is the difference between In Stock and Available?
In Stock means the item is physically held in an Amikon warehouse. Available means it can be sourced from a verified channel subject to supplier confirmation and lead time; the quotation will state the status that applies to your order.
  • 02
Can I enquire for a part that is not shown on the website?
Yes. The website does not represent every item we may be able to supply. Send the complete part number and quantity and we will respond clearly whether it is in stock, sourceable, pending confirmation or unavailable.
  • 03
How can I confirm that the quoted quantity is physically in the Xiamen warehouse?
Only a quotation stating Xiamen warehouse In Stock confirms that the quoted quantity has been verified there. Current photos or video inspection can be provided, subject to final stock-allocation confirmation before payment.
  • 04
Can I see actual photos or a video before payment?
Current photos and video inspection are available for items quoted as warehouse stock. For sourced or lead-time items, actual photos before payment are not guaranteed; the quotation stage will confirm what photos, labels, packaging evidence or other records can be provided and when.
  • 05
How are lead time and the earliest dispatch date confirmed?

The quotation will state the processing or sourcing time and estimated dispatch date separately. Final dispatch depends on cleared payment, complete shipping details, stock allocation and any required inspection and packing; the order-specific written date takes priority over general guidance.
  • 06
Can an urgent line-down order ship the same day?
Yes, line-down orders receive priority. For verified warehouse stock, we commit to same-business-day dispatch when full cleared payment and complete shipping details are received before 15:00 China Standard Time; otherwise, your sales contact will confirm the earliest achievable date.
  • 07
Is stock automatically reserved during the quotation-validity period?
No. Quotation validity applies to the stated price and terms and does not automatically reserve stock. Project stock, reserved quantities or scheduled releases require a written agreement defining quantity, reservation period, payment and release dates.
  • 08
What happens if an order or source is delayed?
We will explain the cause and provide a revised timeframe. Where possible, we will offer a verified alternative source or part; no substitution, revision change or additional charge will proceed without your written approval.
